The client

Spatial Composite Solutions designs and manufactures composite components at Al Hamra Industrial Zone, Ras Al Khaimah. Its design team depends on heavy engineering software (SOLIDWORKS, ePlan and simulation tools) and a central document management system.

The challenge

Engineering files were spread across Dropbox, outside the company's Microsoft 365 controls, and the design workstations needed upgrading to SOLIDWORKS 2026 without disrupting live projects.

What Missan did

Migrated the company's files from Dropbox to SharePoint, then set up branding and folder permissions so each team sees what it needs.

Rolled out SOLIDWORKS 2026 to every designer workstation.

Upgraded the server environment and set up secure ERP access for the India team.

Supplies and builds workstations and laptops, and supports the windream document management platform.

Provides weekly on-site support plus a helpdesk for day-to-day issues.

The result

  • Engineering files now sit in SharePoint, under the company's Microsoft 365 security and folder permissions, instead of in Dropbox.
  • Every designer workstation runs SOLIDWORKS 2026.
  • The India team reaches the ERP through secure access set up by Missan.
  • One IT partner covers software, servers, workstations and laptops, the windream platform and day-to-day support.

In the client's words

"Missan Global has been a dependable IT partner to Spatial Composite Solutions - responsive support and a team that understands the demands of a manufacturing environment."
