Getting it right usually means external-rated access points, proper siting and a survey done in the space rather than on a floor plan.
Production systems sitting next to the office network
Machine controllers, weighbridges, CCTV and access control frequently share a flat network with email and file storage. That is how a single compromised laptop reaches the plant. Segmenting it is not exotic work, but it has to be done with production in mind — and scheduled around it, not through it.
Site, office and port operations pulling in different directions
Many Hamriyah businesses run a zone site alongside a commercial office elsewhere in Sharjah or Dubai. Documents, approvals and quotations move between them constantly. One identity, one file platform and one security standard across all of it beats two suppliers who each blame the other.

Do you provide onsite IT support in Hamriyah Free Zone?
Yes. Our office is on Lake Corniche Street in Al Majaz, in the same emirate, and engineers attend Hamriyah sites under an AMC or on a project basis. We currently support a small number of client organisations with work in the zone — fewer than in SAIF Zone, and we would rather say so than overstate it.
Can you improve Wi-Fi across a warehouse or fabrication bay?
Yes, and it is one of the more common reasons businesses in the zone call us. Industrial coverage needs a survey done physically in the space, hardware rated for the environment, and siting that accounts for steel, racking and moving plant. A design based on an office floor plan will not survive contact with a working bay.
Our machines and our office computers are on the same network. Is that a problem?
Usually, yes. A flat network means a compromised laptop can reach production systems, and it is one of the first things a cyber insurer or auditor questions. Segmenting it is routine work, but it must be planned around production rather than pushed through it — normally staged, out of hours, with a rollback at each step.
